Some weeks ago I read "Uglies" and I really want the second book in the trilogy, "Pretties"!
The book is about "Uglies" is about a girl, Tally Youngblood, who lives in Ugly town and wants to go to New Pretty Town.

Tally is about to turn sixteen, and she can't wait. In just a few weeks she'll have the operation that will turn her from a repellent ugly into a stunning pretty. And as a pretty, she'll be catapulted into a high-tech paradise where her only job is to have fun.

But Tally's new friend Shay isn't sure she wants to become a pretty. When Shay runs away, Tally learns about a whole new side of the pretty world-- and it isn't very pretty. I really enjoyed this book, although I needed some time to get through it, but that was because I have a reading slump rn.
I think that Tally is a really smart and good character, but she still makes some mistakes I hate. She's just like every ordinary girl: she wants to look pretty and have fun with her friends. I mean what's wrong with that? Well, that's the big secret!
I love Shay in the beginning, bc she shows Tally a whole new world and does what she thinks is the right thing to do. Later, at the beginning of the last chapters, she gets jealous and aggressive and then dumb girl. I hope she get's better the next book!
And then there's David...I like him and he's really sweet and so on, but you don't get much information about him, so he's just like THERE. Idk he's okay, but not as interesting as, for example Harry Potter and I really hope that there's some more drama about him and Tally in the second book!
I just love drama:D
