A Reading Slump is a period of time, where you aren't enjoying reading or just don't want to read anything. You want to watch movies or series, lie in bed and eat cookies.
This can happen, bc of a boring book (*cough* Endgame *cough*) or you read too much too fast or you just don't feel like it and it's totally okay if you do so. It's normal. Everyone has it, even the big booknerds.
I'm in one too and I just don't feel like it, but I still love books!
So here are some tips how to get rid of it.
1) Don't try to hard to read again.
Take your time following these tips, otherwise you won't enjoy reading a really good book and it will just last longer.
2) Watch every movie and series you feel like watching. Sit in bed and eat a cookie.
Just do what your brain wants to do. It won't help doing something you don't want to do and I mean, why don't enjoy your time on this planet doing things you want to do that very moment?
I for example started a new series, it's called " The Carrie Diaries" and I just feel comfortable and cosy and good doing a marathon in the evening. (And btw the guy in there is really hot so... check it out!)
Or good movies are "Geek Charming", "Vampire Academy", "Dirty Dancing" and "Once Upon a Song". I can watch them a hundred times and not get bored!
3) Start reading again.
If you feel like reading again, start with something easy to read or a book you waited on reading for too long or even re-read your favourite book. Treat yourself for feeling like reading again!
4) After that you should be able to read normally again! (*applause*)
This are my four go-to tips for overcoming a Reading Slump. I'm going to continue enjoying season one of "The Carrie Diaries" and eat some cookies now. Bye!

So, this post are my top 5 book trailer so far and omg you don't even know how much work it is to watch about 20 book trailer at one day. Well, just so you know, I worked hard on this post and I hope you enjoy the trailer!
1) "Tell me a secret" by Holly Cupala
I haven't even heard of this book before I saw this trailer, but now I really want to read it!
2) "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" by Ransom Riggs
I WANT TO READ THIS BOOK SO BADLY, BUT I HAVE NO MONEY TO BUY IT. YET.
3) "The Heir" by Kiera Cass
Read the book. Loved the book. Want the next book. ( It's book #4 in the selection series. Have to read this serie such and easy and happy read. My fell-good books. )
4) "Under the Never Sky" by Veronica Rossi
I think the trailer's a bit too long, but very good quality!
5) "The Forest of Hands and Teeth" by Carrie Ryan
I have no idea what's in that forest or why the fences go down ( are they even going down?), but I love the look and quality of this book trailer. Still I don't really get what it's about, but that makes me curious to read it!
I now want to read all of these books and I hope you get inspired to read them too. Btw I really would like to chat with you guys so leave a comment below!

My summer/ holiday reading list!
So today was my last day of school and tomorrow I'm going to England, Eastbourne for 3 weeks so I'm going to read a bit!
"Opposition" by Jennifer L. Armentrout (Lux-series book 5)
Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came. She can't believe Daemon stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred.
Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from enemy, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything to ensure the survival of their friends...and mankind.
I'm so scared to read this book bc it's the last one of the series, my favourite series. I know that some of you aren't going to get this, but don't worry I'm going to review every single book of this series soon!
"Shadows" by Jennifer L. Armentrout (Lux-series book 6, Dawson's story)
The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. To him, human girls are...well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane. Dangerous.
Bethany can't deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren't a complication she wants, whenever they lock eyes, she's drawn in. Captivated.
Dawson can't stop risking everything for one human girl. Or stop a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.
A extra story about Daemons brother Dawson. He's like a mystery so I'm really curious how they fell in love and got in that much trouble!
"Sophie's World" by Jostein Gaarder
Looking in her mailbox one day, a fourteen-year-old Norwegian schoolgirl called Sophie Amundsen finds two surprising pieces of paper. On them are written the questions: 'Who are you?' and 'Where does the world come from?'
The writer is an enigmatic philosopher called Albert Knox, and his two teasing questions are the beginning of an extraordinary tour through the history of Western Philosophy from the pre-Socratics to Sartre. In a series of brilliantly entertaining letters, and then in person ( with his dog, Hermes), Albert Knox opens Sophie's enquiring mind to the fundamental questions that philosophers have been asking since the dawn of civilization.
But as soon as Sophie begins to find her feet in this dazzling, exciting new world, she and Albert find themselves caught up in a plot which is itself a most perplexing philosophical conundrum...
Yup, I do read classics and I think that I either really love or hate this book. My father gave it to me bc he knows that I like this kind of questions and I often think about how weird our world really is, but that's another post...should I write it? Pls comment below. But back to the topic; He has shown me his favourite quote in this book, "What if you slept? And what if, in your sleep. you dreamed? And what if, in your dream, you went to Heaven and plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if, when you awoke, you held the flower in your hand? Ah, what then?".
It could be a dream or not. I hope that the whole book is something lie this quote bc it makes me question things and just THINK.
"Rivers of London" by Ben Aaronovitch
Meet DC Peter Grant. He will show you his city. But it's not the capital that you all see as you make your way from tube to bus, from Elephant to Castle. It's a city that under its dark surface is packed full of crime. And of magic. A city that you never suspected...
Grant's story starts when he tries to take a witness statement from a man who was already dead. And takes him down a twisting, turning centuries' old mystery that reckons to set modern London on fire...
This book sounds so cool! I'm going to visit London two times during my stay, so it's going to be fun searching for all the mystic places described in this book!
That's it, see you in three weeks! HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!!

"It's Kind of a Funny Story" by Ned Vizzini
“People are screwed up in this world. I'd rather be with someone screwed and open about it than somebody perfect and...you know... ready to explode.”
Sooo... this book was very interesting, I'd say. I had to read it for my English class and I read it in like one day, so it's not a bad book, but I just don't like the genre "depressed young adult". Still, it was a good book, just not my favourite.
Ambitious New York City teenager Craig Gilner is determined to succeed at life - which means getting into the right high school to get into the right job. But once Craig aces his way into Manhattan's Executive Pre-Professional High School, the pressure becomes unbearable. He stops eating and sleeping until, one night, he nearly kills himself.
Craig's suicidal episode gets him checked into a mental hospital, where his new neighbors include a transsexual sex addict, a girl who has scarred her own face with scissors, and the self-elected President Armelio. There, Craig is finally able to confront the sources of his anxiety. (source: goodreads)
I think that this book can help a lot of teens, who feel depressed. I mean some "dark"-books don't end well, so there is no positive help in it, but this one's awesome. Craig just understands that life's worth living and fighting for. You can jump, swim, love ,eat ,drink, have fun, feel.
And I think that's the most important thing in life. I would never want to stop feeling things. Never.
So that's what I love about Craig. He's just so positive and intelligent (I mean most of the people just jump and don't think twice about what they're loosing) and the book's just so accurate!
For example, I love how Craig just says that he loves peeing, because it's easy. You're never going to read THAT again!
All in all I'd recommend this book to teens, just so they can get an idea of how it's like to be depressed and maybe even help depressed teens. Even if you don't like the genre (like me) it's worth reading.

"Uglies" by Scott Westerfeld
“The flowers were so beautiful, so delicate and unthreatening, but they choked everything around them.”
Some weeks ago I read "Uglies" and I really want the second book in the trilogy, "Pretties"!
The book is about "Uglies" is about a girl, Tally Youngblood, who lives in Ugly town and wants to go to New Pretty Town.
Tally is about to turn sixteen, and she can't wait. In just a few weeks she'll have the operation that will turn her from a repellent ugly into a stunning pretty. And as a pretty, she'll be catapulted into a high-tech paradise where her only job is to have fun.
But Tally's new friend Shay isn't sure she wants to become a pretty. When Shay runs away, Tally learns about a whole new side of the pretty world-- and it isn't very pretty. The authorities offer Tally a choice: find her friend and turn her in, or never turn pretty at all. Tally's choice will change her world forever... 9source: goodreads)
I really enjoyed this book, although I needed some time to get through it, but that was because I have a reading slump rn.
I think that Tally is a really smart and good character, but she still makes some mistakes I hate. She's just like every ordinary girl: she wants to look pretty and have fun with her friends. I mean what's wrong with that? Well, that's the big secret!
I love Shay in the beginning, bc she shows Tally a whole new world and does what she thinks is the right thing to do. Later, at the beginning of the last chapters, she gets jealous and aggressive and then dumb girl. I hope she get's better the next book!
And then there's David...I like him and he's really sweet and so on, but you don't get much information about him, so he's just like THERE. Idk he's okay, but not as interesting as, for example Harry Potter and I really hope that there's some more drama about him and Tally in the second book!
I just love drama:D
As always read this book. It's awesome. And...idk,
just READ IT! <3

Shadowhunter tv series cast 2
Yay finally part two of the cast is out!
First here's Magnus Bane played by Harry Shum Jr. He also played someone in "Glee" ( I think he was the one who can dance good...oh no that was "Step Up" whoops!).
Soooo... I don't know I think he looks too young and I just really like Gofrey Gao... Still it could be worse and he's an good actor as far as I know so we'll see.

Alec Lightwood my sassy babe! We all know the sister of this actor (she was Annabeth in Percy Jackson): Matthew Daddario!
I really like him although he doesn't have my beloved blue eyes, but whatever bc the rest is hot! I just really hope that he can play "the gay guy" (I mean MALEC FOR LIFE RIGHT?!).
OMG this pic is aGIF yay! Look his eyes change...so werewolfy:D
Isaiah Mustafa is going to be the new Luke Garroway and his voice is so deep (I just said this with a deeeep voice). Love it!

I only think it's weird that they make him a detective and not an bookshop owner... Ikr. Sad but true.
And on his side will be the lovely Jocelyn Fray! Played by Maxim Roy!
I only hope they dye her hair red, the rest is perf!

And last but still not least is Alan Van Sprang as Valentine Morgenstern! I
miss the hair but he's okay. He played the mad king in "Raign" I heard so maybe he will be a good mad Valentine, who knows?
( P.S.: Another GIF. I love GIFs...the sky moves!)
So now we only need Hodge and some minor roles and it can start!

Shadowhunter tv series cast
Wanna meet my boyfriend? Here he is...
JK ( but he is like really hot).
Jace Herondale/ Morgenstern/ Lightwood/ Wayland/ whatever is going to be played by Dominic Sherwood!
He also played the character Christian Ozera in the movie "Vampire Academy".
We first met in that movie and instantly fell in love. *wink*
No, but I think he will be the most perfect Jace although some people are like "No, he's not blonde and has two different eye colours and his hair is too short" and so on. He can DYE HIS HAIR IT'S 2015 GOD.
So now imagine Dominic with blond dyed hair that has grown a bit longer...AWESOME HUH!
And I mean he already has one golden - brown eye:D
(HE CAN WEAR CONTACTS PEOPLE!)

Next Katherine McNamara as Clary Fray is perfect!
WAY better than Molly Quinn (her face is just not right).
Katherine is just an awesome choice for Clary, she doesn't need anything changed and I can really imagine that she and Dominic will be the perfect Clace (Clary and Jace)!
Well done ABC Family! *claps*

Alberto Rosende is our new Simon Lewis...
He's okay, I just think Robert Sheehan was better as Simon.
Alberto is just a bit too hot and a not cute enough.
The first time i saw him, he didn't wear glasses I was like "NO WAY NO!" ,but once he had his glasses on his nose I accepted him as Simon. I mean he looks right: brown eyes and curly brown hair, a nice smile...
And last but not least Emeraude Toubia as
Isabelle Lightwood. She just looks so badass and Isabelle-like it's AWESOME.
I love her as Izzy and she looks really sweet with Alberto/ Simon!
Some people are like "No her skin is too dark" ,blah, blah, blah.
Don't be so racist! I know in the book she has fair, light skin , but all in all Emeraude just looks like Isabelle: dark, long hair and dark eyes.
And she has just a beautiful face!
I like her!
I'm really excited for the cast of Alec and Magnus because these two were perfect in the movie (Kevin Zegers and Gofrey Gao) and I just hope ABC does a good job with these two too.
MALEC FOR LIFE! <3
So all in all I really love the new cast of the "Shadowhunters" tv show so far and I can't wait for it to start!
I really hope it will be way better than the movie and that we can enjoy six long seasons, bc as you may or not may know they will do each book one season and each chapter one episode (if that hasn't changed yet),
